


Travel south from Australia's western capital of Perth (2 nights at the Richardson) to the Margaret River for 2 nights at Cape Lodge. Then fly to Adelaide and spend a night at the Sebel Playford, before taking to the skies on a Chinta tours' plane to experience the best of South Australia's outback. Then its 2 nights at Crown Towers in Melbourne, before driving the Great Ocean Road on a 3 day journey. Finally head into Victoria's high country for a 2 day horse riding adventure.
Day 1 & 2 - Perth Once you have rested from your flight we suggest you take a cruise down the Swan River to the port of Fremantle a lively seaside suburb, head over to Rottnest Island or perhaps visit one of Perth's spectacular doorstep beaches.
Day 3 & 4 - Cape Lodge Just 3 hours drive south of Perth are some of Australia's best beaches located in the Margaret River Region also famous for its premium wines and charming but laid back small villages. You'll spend 2 nights at the luxurious Cape Lodge, located on its own boutique winery.
Day 5 - Adelaide Drop your car at Perth airport and fly to Adelaide for a night before embarking on your outback adventure.
Day 6–8 - Chinta Tour Your private air tour starts when you are picked up from your Adelaide hotel, transfer to the airport and board your light aircraft for an amazing scenic flight into Australia’s outback, you’ll fly over the vast plains of the desert before flying over the rugged scenery of the Flinders and landing at Hawker Airstrip. You’ll be met by private 4WD car for a tour of the rugged ranges with a night at the Rawnsey Park Eco Villas, luxuriously appointment, remote and with views of Wilpena Pound.
The following morning take an early flight to the opal mining town of Coober Pedy where people live underground to avoid the heat. In the afternoon you’ll join a private tour of the area and overnight at the underground Desert Cave hotel.
Day 3 and another spectacular flight into the heart of Australia’s red centre with views of Uluru and Kata Tjuta National Park, on landing you’ll transfer to a remote location to dine under the stars at the Sounds of Silence dinner. Stay at Voyages Sails in the Desert (or ask your consultants for prices if you’d prefer to upgrade to Longitude 131) Day 9 - Melbourne Transfer to the airport and fly to Melbourne for a night at Crown Towers.
Day 10 & 11 - Great Ocean Road Pick up a hire car and follow Australia's best known and most scenic coastal route, the Great Ocean Road. You’ll visit the Otway ranges and drive along the Shipwreck Coast and the dramatically-eroded Twelve Apostles. Spend 2 nights in Apollo Bay at the Beacon Point Ocean View Villas.
Day 12 – Melbourne Drive back to Melbourne for another night at Crown Towers.
Day 13 & 14 – Horseriding in Victoria’s High Country An early morning transfer to at a high country farming property, where you'll saddle up and start off on a 'Man from Snowy River' experience. Locals guide you way up to spectacular 360 degree views, then we see the perilously steep hill where the famous jump scene from the movie was filmed. Along the way you'll see wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies and Australia’s largest bird of flight, the wedge tail eagle. Spend the night at the Riverhouse at Howqua Dale, a magnificent country house hotel on the banks of the Howqua River.
Another day of riding through creeks and gullies and more spectacular scenery before transferring back to Melbourne where this itinerary ends.
You could extend your stay in Melbourne or perhaps fly on to one of Australia's famous Great Barrier Reef Islands for some RnR.
